Weekend Pick-Ups
Orders must be received no later than Tuesdays by 8pm.
Any orders received afterwards will be fulfilled for the following weekend.

Waterfront Market at Ruston (formerly Point Ruston Public Market) between 10a - 6p

Breads

Country Loaf

Slowly fermented breads made with wild yeast culture and stone ground whole grain flours are vastly more nutritious as well as easier to digest. The fermentation process breaks down the flours into sugars that are then eaten by the wild yeast. This means that the yeast essentially starts the digestion for you thus making it that much more gentle on your digestive system. This process also allows your body to properly absorb the nutrients provided by the whole grains.

The process we use to make our Whole Grain Rye bread brings out a slightly sweet, nutty flavor in the finished product as well as toning down the deep earthiness traditionally associated with rye bread. Since rye flour has a lower gluten content and the gluten it does have is less elastic than that of wheat, it makes for a tighter crumb. Perfect for sandwiches!
